( CINCINNATI, OH ) -- A tradition that's been going on in the Queen City since 1911 continuous on Sunday, October 22. "The Original Italian Dinner" takes place at Sacred Heart Church at 2733 Massachusetts Ave. It is the oldest and largest such event of its kind in the nation.
"Take Home" begins between 10 and 10:30 AM and "Eat-In" begins at noon. More than 220,000 homemade ravioli will be available as well as 23,000 hand-rolled meatballs, more than 600 gallons of homemade sauce, bread, salad with homemade Italian dressing, dessert consisting of a cup of ice cream and a cookie.
Means are $12 for adults and children under 12 years are $5. More than 3,000 typically attend this family friendly Italian dinner every year.
