(Cincinnati, Oh.)--A woman was injured in a crash on West North Bend Road.
The Cincinnati Police Department say Steven McConnal, 64, lost control of his vehicle, while headed westbound on West North Bend Road. His vehicle traveled off the right side of the road striking a fire hydrant and a concrete curb, and struck the left side of a parked PT Cruiser.
Police say that 71 year-old Olevia Jackson, was simultaneously getting into the parked PT Cruiser, when she was struck by McConnal's vehicle.
Ms. Jackson was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and is in serious but stable condition.
Mr. McConnal was wearing a seat-belt and was not injured.
Police say excessive speed is not a factor but that impairment is a factor in this crash.
