The Cincinnati Police Department is investigating a felonious assault that occurred in the Clifton/North Avondale area.
Officers responded to a shooting at the Shell gas station at 9 W. Mitchell Avenue early Monday morning.
Police report 29-year-old Justin Williams reportedly was involved in an altercation just past midnight. A passenger of one of the involved vehicles exited, and shot several rounds at Williams, striking him in the back. The shooter then fled the scene on foot. Williams was transported to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
