(Mt. Healthy, OH)--A 24-year-old Cincinnati man is facing charges after two hit-skip accidents, one of which led to a fatality.
Hamilton County deputies said that James Klinefelter was westbound on Compton Rd. near Forest Ave. when he hit a Jeep. The impact pushed the Jeep into two other vehicles.
The driver of the Jeep, Ronald Otto, 75, was taken to UC Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at the scene. Another driver suffered minor injuries.
Deputies said Klinefelter left the scene and was involved in another hit-skip accident in Colerain Township a few moments later.
Klinefelter was located by Colerain Township police at his home.
He is charged with Aggravated Vehicular Homicide and Leaving the scene of an injury crash.
