Music Hall Reopens After Major Renovation

(Cincinnati, Oh.)--Cincinnati’s historic Music Hall will reopen today, after undergoing extensive renovations.

In celebration, local Cincinnati restaurants and bars are coming together to support the venue and The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra by featuring specialty cocktails and promotions in commemoration of the opening.

At Sundry & Vice, guests who present their ticket with their meal will receive a 25% discount for the Grand Opening and a 10% discount for the entire month of October.

Other restaurants involved are Salazar, Mita's, Taste of Belgium, Coppin's Restaurant & Bar, A Tavola, Teller's, and more pending.

There are numerous events planned at the venue: a Grand Opening weekend with celebrations featuring performances by Cincinnati Pops, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and ArtsWave, and later on in October, performances by Cincinnati Ballet and Cincinnati Opera.

Renovations at Music Hall totaled $143 million including newly constructed seating, an updated interior design, and improved acoustics.

The area surrounding Music Hall is no stranger to heavy reformations. The historic Over-the-Rhine neighborhood has undergone major revitalization over the past five years, now home to hundreds of thriving businesses, restaurants, and retail stores.
