(Cincinnati, Oh.)--Matthew 25: Ministries, is shipping three containers of aid to Puerto Rico for victims of Hurricane Maria next week.
The international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization are expected to ship out a total of nine containers of aid within the week. The shipments will be loaded with basic necessities as well as things such as safety and clean up supplies, bottled water, tarps and blankets.
A Disaster Response Team will also depart on Monday, October 9 followed over a two week period by teams of medical professionals. The team will set up clinics and provide medical care to communities recovering from the hurricane.
Tim Mettey, CEO of Matthew 25: Ministries says they are still in need of donations. Matthew 25: Ministries accepts cash, credit card and internet donations for ongoing disaster aid and humanitarian relief programs.
More than 99% of Matthew 25: Ministries cash and in-kind donations go toward programs.
Matthew 25: also welcomes volunteers six days a week at their Blue Ash facility.
