( Covington, Kentucky ) - Police say a nine-month investigation working with the FBI has led to drug charges being filed against dozens of people.
A statement from Covington Police says more than 50 people are facing a variety of narcotics charges including trafficking heroin, fentanyl, carfentanil, and more. Investigators say some of the crimes occurred within a thousand feet of a school.
Mid-level dealers who either in live in or visit Covington were the targets of the investigation. Not all of the suspects facing charges have been arrested yet.
