Major Hamilton County Road Project Begins Today

(Cincinnati, OH)  --  A big road project begins today in Hamilton County.  

Taylor Road will close between Bridgetown and Rybolt roads until next spring for a relocation project. County officials say crews will turn the current five-way intersection into a more traditional four-way intersection.  

Drivers will detour over Taylor Road to Ebenezer Road to Hayes Road, and vice versa. Detour signs will be posted.

Meanwhile traffic on U.S. Route 50 traffic shift is scheduled for this week.

Work on  U.S. Route 50 drainage and pavement upgrade project, will force traveling lanes will be shifted to the eastbound side of the road, allowing crews to work in the westbound lanes.

This traffic shift will be on U.S. Route 50 from Lawrenceburg Road to State Line Road from Tuesday, Oct. 3 through Tuesday, Oct. 31. Traffic control devices will be used to maintain traffic.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert drivers of the upcoming work zone and restrictions.
