Warmbier's Parents: Otto Was Tortured

(Wyoming, OH)  --  The parents of Otto Warmbier are revealing horrifying details about the day their son came home from North Korea.

Fred and Cindy Warmer told "Fox and Friends" today that Otto was blind and deaf and was howling and jerking involuntarily when he arrived in Cincinnati on June 13th.

Doctors at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center say Warmbier suffered from "unresponsive wakefulness," a diagnoses also known as a persistent vegetative state, meaning he was awake at times but not fully aware of his surroundings or himself.

The 22-year-old University of Virginia student was sentenced to 15 years of hard labor after allegedly tearing down a banner in North Korea in March 2016. He then suffered severe brain damage during his 17 months of detention. Otto Warmbier died less than a week after returning home.

Fred Warmbier said today North Korea "is not a victim, they're terrorists."
