Bengals Players Stand For Anthem

(Cincinnati, OH)  --  Cincinnati Bengals players are standing together for what they believe in.

The team stood with their arms locked together yesterday during the National Anthem before their game against Green Bay.  Players say they wanted to be united against President Trump's urging of NFL owners to fire players who don't stand for the Anthem. A statement from the team said the united front shows its focus is on football and not politics.

In Cleveland, Browns players who choose to take a knee during the national anthem are getting support from their owners.

Jimmy and Dee Haslam issued a statement of support before the Browns' game in Indianapolis yesterday, saying the players want to create positive and unifying change.  Two dozen Browns joined others across the NFL in protesting the anthem in response to President Trump's tweets and public comments urging league owners to fire them for disrespecting the U.S. flag.
