Car Hits Elderly Pedestrian In Hyde Park

An elderly pedestrian crossing the road outside a crosswalk is injured after being hit by a vehicle. Cincinnati police were called out just after midnight early Sunday morning on a report of a pedestrian hit by a car in Hyde Park at 2470 Madison Road. Officers found 80-year-old Ann Zeff suffering from serious wounds. She was taken to UC Medical Center where she was last listed in serious condition. The driver of the car, 36-year-old Antoinette Thompson, was not injured. Investigators report Thompson was wearing her seat belt and excessive speed and impairment are not believed to be factors in the crash.
