Update: Police have taken the woman involved in a shooting incident in Madeira Sunday morning into custody. They also have recovered the vehicle seen leaving the scene of the shooting. Officers are still looking for the man involved in the shooting.
Police are looking for two suspects in a Madeira shooting. Madeira Police report a man and woman who live at an apartment in 7300 block of Shawnee Run are believed to have been involved in the shooting of a man at that location this morning at 9:00 a.m. Sunday. Officers were called out on a report of multiple shots being heard by neighbors. Police confirm that several shots were fired in the rear of the apartment and at least one individual was shot.
Witnesses saw a man running from the rear of the apartment with an apparent gunshot wound and two additional individuals leaving the scene in a red 4-door 2006 Infiniti G35 with Ohio plates HBU-1087. The victim is being treated at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery for a gunshot wound.
The suspects are described as a black female in her late 20's, about 5-feet-6-inches and around 150 pounds and a black male in his 30's, about 5-feet-8-inches and around 230 pounds. They are considered armed and dangerous. The incident is currently under investigation and anyone with information is urged to contact the Madeira Police Department at 513-242-4214.
