(Cincinnati) The sentence is 14 years behind bars for a man who ran down a family near the Zoo back in November.
3-year-old Khloe Pitts died after the crash and her mother was seriously injured.
Pitts was leaving the Festival of Lights with her family when 23-year-old Dontiez Dickey ran a red light and struck them in the crosswalk.
After the accident Dickey fled the scene, but was later turned in by his girlfriend who was in the car with him.
Judge Robert Ruehlman told Dickey it was a cold blooded act, leaving a little girl to die in the street.
