( Whitewater Twp ) - The Hamilton County Sheriff says two men are facing charges for being in possession of several pounds of heroin.
On Thursday, agents with the Regional Enforcement Narcotics Unit Highway Interdiction Team arrested Cesar Medina and Elfego Velazquez Rosas on charges of heroin trafficking. Agents allegedly found 6.6 pounds of the drug during a traffic stop on I-74.
A statement from the sheriff says the estimated street value is $1 million.
Both men are now in the Hamilton County Jail on $2 million bond.
