(Monroe, OH) -- Amazon is bringing one-thousand new jobs to southwest Ohio.
The "Journal-News" reports the online retailer will build a 30-million-dollar fulfillment center in an industrial park off State Route 63 in Monroe. The new fulfillment center in Monroe has the potential to create 1,000 jobs.
E-retail giant has been steadily adding jobs in Ohio, with fulfillment centers open near Columbus and another planned for the Cleveland area.
A 10-year tax credit was approved in Aug, for the company, that would be worth close to $3.8 million if the company creates the jobs as promised.
