Rico Mosley Not Guilty in Kelsie Crow Murder Trial

( Cincinnati, OH ) - 20-year-old Rico Mosley was found not found guilty Monday in the shooting death of Kelsie Crow.

The 17 year-old Purcell Marian High School student was shot and killed while leaving a Sweet 16 party outside of the Walnut Hills YMCA in April of 2015.

Police said Crow was not believed to be the intended target, as 28 shots were fired into a crowd.

Mosley pled not guilty to two counts of murder and four counts of assault. His attorney Clyde Bennett said his client was only charged due to public pressure for an arrest in the case.

A jury unanimously found Mosley not guilty Monday, saying the state could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Mosley had a firearm the night Crow was killed.
