Arrest Made in One of Two Double Shootings

( Covington, Kentucky ) - Police say they've arrested one suspect after a pair of double shootings along a stretch of one street in the last month.

20-Year-Old Damondre Williams (pictured) is charged with murder for the shooting death of Antonio Bandy on August 1. Bandy and his father were both shot after reports of an argument in the 300 block of East 13th street. Williams is charged with assault for shooting the father.

Just a day before in that same area, Lazuri Collins, a 24-year-old mother of three, was fatally shot as she rode in a car with her father. Her father was also wounded in that shooting. No word yet on any suspects in that case.

Covington Police say Williams was arrested with help from the Northern Kentucky Strike Force, US Marshals, an FBI task force, and Cincinnati Police. Investigators said that street generally has a lot of people gathered outside at any given time, but they were having a difficult time getting any information from witnesses.
