(Cincinnati) Some Tri-State first responders are on their way to Texas to help out in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. A total of ten local firefighters, including four from Cincinnati, are among the 49 members of Ohio Task Force One being sent to San Antonio.
The members of the statewide search and rescue team were called up late Thursday night and left Dayton early Friday morning. They hit the road with supplies and boats, ready to help out with potential water rescues with the threat of severe flooding. 14 members of the team are swift water trained. They're prepared to be gone for two weeks.
