( Mason, Ohio ) - Autopsy results are pending, but investigators say it appears a baby died from being left in a car all day on Wednesday.
A statement from the City of Mason says officers were called to a parking lot at the Procter and Gamble facility around 5pm on reports of a medical emergency. There, they found a vehicle with a 15-month-old girl dead inside.
Warren County Coroner Chief Investigator Doyle Burke told reporters that the mother of the baby was the one who called 911. That mother is a P&G employee.
A statement from P&G calls the incident "tragic" and offers condolences to the family.
