Drugs Behind Mass Shooting at Gender Reveal Party

(Colerain, OH) --  Police in Colerain say drugs were behind a mass shooting at a gender reveal party. One person was killed and another eight injured during last month's get-together.

Autum Garrett, of Indiana, was killed in that shooting on July 8, at a home on Capstan Drive, five adults and three children were hurt.

Investigators say the shooting was targeted, and that several people at the party have ties to drug rings. Colerain Police say they expect multiple arrests in the case.

Police say that Cheyanne Willis, 21, was hosting the party to reveal the gender of her baby, she was shot in the incident and then claimed she lost the baby. Police have since said she was not pregnant at the time of the shooting.

Police also say several of the victims and witnesses to the shooting lied in their statements and left out key information.
