(Cincinnati, OH) -- Nightmarish delays on the Brent Spence Bridge are becoming a thing of the past.
Now that the southbound lanes are open, crews can concentrate on finishing work on the Northbound side.
Ohio Department of Transportation officials say all four lanes on the upper deck of the bridge opened last night, with the northbound lanes on the lower deck opening Friday. At that time, the ramps from south 71 to third street and south 75 will be reopening as well.
Lanes on both decks were closed all summer as part of a maintenance project that is now is entering its final week, by Friday traffic on both decks will be completely restored to four lanes.
