( Hamilton County ) - The auditor is letting residents know about all the different gas stations where credit card skimmers have been found over the last two years. The devices have been found inside gas pumps and can steal your credit card information.
Auditor Dusty Rhodes says his office has not been notified about any arrests in the following cases.
Rhodes says these three stations don't use any added security in the aftermath of skimmers being found:
- Shell 7436 Wooster Pike
- Shell 401 Glendale Milford
- Marathon (G&R Market) State Route 128
Rhodes says customers should use extra caution at those locations. He says the next two have used security tape on their pumps, but some of all of the tape has been broken:
- Marathon 1199 Smiley
- Sunoco 2290 Sharon Road (skimmers found twice)
The next three locations in the auditor's list are places where skimmers have been found, but security has been upgraded:
- Circle K 10630 Loveland Madeira
- Shell 10629 Loveland Madeira
- BP 12010 Omniplex
Rhodes says there have also been stores that found credit card skimmers on their terminals inside:
- Wal-Mart 1143 Smiley
- Wal-Mart 8451 Colerain
- Wal-Mart 10240 Colerain
- Thorntons 12105 Princeton
He says his office has not received any more information about those cases from either the stores or the police.
