( Hamilton, Ohio ) - The Butler County Coroner says the death of a 1-year-old earlier this year was from an overdose on a combination of drugs, and now that child's father is under indictment.
Investigators say Dorrico Brown called 911 in May, saying that his baby son, Dorrico Brown Jr, wasn't breathing. That child was pronounced dead at the hospital.
According to the coroner, toxicology results show the baby died of a combination of drugs in his system including oxycodone. It's unclear how the child ingested the drugs.
Brown Sr was indicted by a Butler County grand jury on Wednesday. He's charged with involuntary manslaughter and child endangering. A warrant has been issued from his arrest.
