Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested in Franklin

( FRANKLIN, OH ) -- Police were called to Huntington National Bank on South Main Street on reports of a robbery on Friday, August 11. The suspect had reportedly fled westbound towards the river between two businesses.

A K-9 unit was called in and the suspect was found on the river bank. The man had jumped into the river and the Franklin Fire Department water rescue team was called in. The male suspect was eventually taken into custody on the river.
