( Franklin Twp ) - Sentencing Thursday for a teen charged with multiple counts including attempted murder in the shooting of his stepfather.
A statement from Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell says the teen was sentenced to juvenile detention until he turns 21 and also 14 years in adult prison. However, the judge made those sentences conditional, saying that if the teen has no problems during his time in juvie, he won't have to serve that adult prison sentence.
Investigators say the teen shot his father as he lay in bed sleeping on May 25 after he went to the basement of the home to retrieve an AR-15.
