Kentucky Mall Goes on Lockdown Due to Fireworks


(Florence Ky.)-- The Florence Police Department were called out to in the Florence Mall Tuesday at 4p.m. for a report of shots being fired. 

Officers were on scene within one minute of the call and quickly made entry into the food court. Several witnesses in the food court advised the officers that it was an unknown male who actually let off some firecrackers and ran out of the Mall. 

Officers were quickly able to verify this by reviewing security video. The Florence Mall was briefly placed on lock-down. There were no injuries as a result of the incident.
