Design Plans Approved for Downtown Kroger

(Cincinnati) It includes 18 stories with 139 apartments and a 550-space parking garage. According to the Business Courier, the design plan for a new mixed-use project, that includes a new downtown Kroger store, has been approved by Cincinnati's Historic Conservation Board. 

The building at the corner of Central Parkway and Walnut will house the first supermarket in downtown Cincinnati since 1969. It's set to open in the summer of 2019.

The opening of the new store will mean the closing of Kroger's Over-the-Rhine location.
