Homeowner Shoots Intruders in Columbia Township

( Columbia Township, OH ) – The Hamilton County Sheriff says a homeowner shot two intruders early Saturday in Columbia Township. 

Sheriff Jim Neal says it happened around 3:15am at a home in the 3500 block of Kenoak Lane. 

The homeowner and his family were startled by two intruders who broke into their home. After a struggle ensued, the homeowner retrieved a gun and shot both men. Then then left the house and drove away.

The suspects were located a short distance away. Both men were taken to University Hospital. 

One man is in stable condition and the other is in critical condition. Their names are being withheld pending an investigation and notifications to family members.
