(Cincinnati, Oh.)--Graeter’s Ice Cream has revealed a new flavor called Chunky Chunky Hippo in support of the Cincinnati Zoo and their beloved Nile Hippo Fiona.
The All New Limited Edition Chunky Chunky Hippo Ice Cream will be available in Graeter’s Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Dayton, Ohio and Oxford, Ohio scoop shops as well as at the Graeter’s location at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical garden. Graeter’s has more than 50 retail stores.
A portion of the proceeds from the hippo-inspired flavor will benefit the zoo, with scoops being sold at local scoop shops and at the zoo, as well as pints online in limited quantity's. The family-owned and operated ship over 300,000 pints annually for online mail order sales.
The announcement from the Cincinnati-based company comes during National Ice Cream Month in July. The new Chunky Chunky Hippo is a toffee ice cream base, salted roasted peanuts and milk chocolate caramel truffles.
