Adolphus Washington Arrested in Sharonville on Weapons Charge

(Sharonville, Ohio) --A Current NFL Defensive Tackle and Cincinnati native has been arrested on a Weapons Charge. 

Adolphus Washington was arrested Sunday night for improperly carrying a concealed weapon, outside the Splash Cincinnati Water Park in Sharonville.

The Cincinnati native and former Ohio State standout currently plays for the Buffalo Bills.

According to The Associated Press citing a police report, officers were breaking up a crowd at the water park around 9:30 P.M. Sunday night when Washington "Reached for and displayed a gun while sitting inside his vehicle, just feet away from officers."

The Bills have been off on break since mid-June before players begin reporting for training camp, on July 27.

The Bills released a statement Monday night saying they're aware of the situation and have been in contact with Washington who is entering his second year with the team. He is scheduled appear at Hamilton County Municipal Court on July 24.
