Update: One Woman Dead, Eight Wounded in Colerain Gender Reveal Shooting

UPDATE 2:
A 911 caller stated that two men wearing hoodies with handguns went into a home in the 9900 block of Capstan Drive in Colerain Township Saturday night where there was a baby gender reveal party going on and started shooting.  A 911 caller describes the suspects as one wearing a blue hoodie and another wearing a green one. The woman on the 911 call told a dispatcher that they were "acting sneaky" before they ran into the home and started shooting. They fled the scene on foot before police arrived and are still on the run. One woman is dead and eight other people including three children are injured.

The woman killed has been identified by police as 22-year-old Autumn Garrett of Huntington, Indiana. Police also report that one of the injured victims is a woman who was pregnant. She suffered a gunshot wound to her leg and suffered a miscarriage causing the death of her baby. Police report the ages of the children suffering non-life threatening injuries were 8, 6, and 2. Investigators report that they don't know if anyone was specifically being targeting in the shooting.


UPDATE 1:
(Cincinnati, Oh.)--One woman is dead and at least 8 more are in the hospital after they were shot at a at a family gathering in Colerain Township.

Colerain Township Police say the shots rang out around 11:30 P.M. Saturday night during a woman's gender reveal party. Some of the injured include 3 children, they are being treated at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, their conditions are still unknown. One adult is in critical condition 3 others are listed in serous condition and one is listed in fair condition at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Sherrod Brown is also offering his condolences today following the shooting “Connie and I are thinking of everyone affected by this senseless gun violence in Colerain Township Saturday. We pray for a speedy recovery for those injured and are grateful to the first responders and hospital personnel caring for them as well as the police who are investigating this horrific crime.”


ORIGINAL STORY:
(Colerain Township, Hamilton County, OH)--One person was killed and seven were wounded late Saturday night. It happened about 11:30 p.m. at a house in the 9900 block of Capstan Ln.

Police said that children were among those wounded.

Colerain Township police have not released any additional information.
