Cincinnati Police Respond To A Serious Accident On Paddock Road

(700 WLW)- At approximately 8:50 PM, the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit responded to 4520 Paddock Road to investigate a serious injury traffic crash.

Mr. Andrew Lee Walker, M/32, was operating a 1998 Honda Accord north on Paddock Road when he failed to maintain control of his vehicle and struck a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu being operated by Mr. Jordan Winston, M/24. Mr. Winston was also traveling north on Paddock Road. After striking the Malibu, Mr. Walker’s vehicle drove off the right side of roadway and struck a utility pole and fire hydrant. Mr. Walker’s vehicle then entered back onto the roadway, crossed the center line, and struck a parked and unattended 2002 Chevrolet Astro Van.

Mr. Brandon Sherfield, M/32, the passenger in Mr. Walker’s vehicle was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he is listed in serious condition. He was not wearing his seatbelt.

Mr. Walker was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition. He was not wearing his seatbelt. Mr. Winston and his passenger, Ms. Sarafina Fumi-Fiama, F/27, were wearing their seatbelts and not injured.

Excessive speed and impairment appear to be factors in this crash.
