Dewine kicks off Campaign for Gov in Cincinnati

(Cincinnati, Oh.)--Attorney General Mike DeWine was in the queen city to kick off his campaign for Ohio Governor with a stop at Enerfab Inc. on Tuesday

The 70 year-old Republican, Former U.S. Senator and Lieutenant Governor officially announced his campaign for Governor on Sunday June 25, during his annual ice cream social at his home in Cedarville.

The current Attorney General visited Cincinnati to meet with his supporters, share his vision for Ohio’s future and to talk business development in the state.

 Enerfab, Inc. was founded in 1901, it is one of the largest private employers in all of Hamilton County. Today, it produces industrial vats for use in various industries.

DeWine, joins a growing field of candidates who have also declared they are running for the Governor office in 2018. That list includes:

Dave Kiefer, former Wayne County Commissioner and Republican candidate for the State House in 2016

Connie Pillich, former State Representative and nominee for Ohio State Treasurer in 2014

Joe Schiavoni, State Senator and former Minority Leader of the Ohio SenateBetty Sutton, former U.S. Representative

Nan Whaley, Mayor of Dayton
