( Hamilton County ) - Just after 2 o'clock on Friday afternoon, the jury in the Ray Tensing retrial again told the judge they were deadlocked.
The jury communicated that to the judge earlier on Friday, but Judge Leslie Ghiz told the 12-member panel to again go back and try to reach an unanimous verdict.
Following the afternoon announcement, Judge Ghiz accepted their claim and declared a mistrial. The jury told her they were evenly split, but there's no word what charge that split applies to.
It will now be up to Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters whether or not a third trial will be attempted.
