(Fairfield Township) - Update: Police have identified the man struck and killed Monday morning as 59 year-old Jimmy Morris.
There is no word whether or not the driver of the car, 83 year-old Leonard Powell, will face any charges.
Investigators say alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors.

A pedestrian has died after being struck by a car in Fairfield Township this morning. It happened around 5:15 along Route 4 near Allison Avenue.
Police don't believe the 83-year-old driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The 59-year-old man from Hamilton died at the scene.
