(Covington) It'll have a big impact on traffic for the next 60 days. Routine maintenance is taking place on the Brent Spence Bridge and that means lane closures starting tonight.
The work will take place in three phases with two lanes on both the upper and lower decks closing at the same time.
Traffic will be reduced to just one lane for a brief period over the weekend as barriers are put into place.
Crews will be replacing the concrete on the surface of the bridge, repairing steelwork and upgrading the lighting and drainage systems.
