Two Dead, Three Injured in Mount Orab Crash

(Georgetown, OH)--Two people were killed, and three were injured in an accident on State Route 32 in Mount Orab. The crash happened around 5:18 p.m. Friday.

Ohio Highway Patrol Troopers said that Edward A. Lane, 77, of Williamsburg, was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes. They said he hit a pick-up truck driven by Cameron B. Barkley, 41, of Mount Orab.

After the initial crash, Lane hit a second car driven by Brody A. Morris, 27, of Peebles.

Lane and Barkley were pronounced dead at the scene.

Three people were injured. A passenger in the Barkley truck, Derek L. Jimison, 43, of Georgetown, was flown by Air Care to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. 

Alcohol and drugs are not considered factors in the crash.  

All drivers and passengers were wearing their seat belts.
