Addressing Concerns Over Police Radios

(Cincinnati) Cincinnati Police Chief Elliot Isaac says they are seeing improvements. Leaders from Motorola have gone before City Council's Law and Public Safety Committee, addressing concerns over police radios.

There had been a number of complaints about transmissions dropping out or being so garbled that they couldn't be understood.

Isaac says the company has been very responsive in working with the city to fix the issues. He says the work that's been completed in the last two weeks has vastly improved the system.

Councilman Chris Smitherman had threatened legal action, accusing Motorola of putting officers lives at risk.
