( Liberty Twp ) - A man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly caused a multi-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning.
Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers were called to I-75 near Ohio 129 just after 1am for a crash. Investigators say 25-year-old Michael Samartini of Centerville was intoxicated when he crashed into the rear end of a Jeep. Both vehicles collided with the concrete median, but Samartini's car then bounced off and struck another car. A semi in the area swerved, struck Samartini's car, and landed on its side across three lanes. Also, a motorcycle was struck by debris. That driver was able to pull onto the left shoulder.
Samartini is so far charged with OVI and not keeping an assured clear distance.
