AG: No Comment on Adams County Search

( Kirkersville, Ohio ) - Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine will not say if there's any new information in the search for the killer or killers from last year's deadly shooting in Pike County.

On Friday, DeWine was in Licking County, Ohio, to help in the investigation into the shooting of the Kirkersville Police Chief. During questioning, he was asked about multiple law enforcement vehicles in Adams County.

DeWine confirmed that there is "a joint investigation going on between the Adams County Sheriff's department, the Pike County Sheriff's department, and BCI. And that's really all I can tell you at this point, he said." A spokesman for the department confirmed to 700WLW News that there are also members of the Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections' STAR Team.

Seven adults and a teen were shot to death in Pike County, just a few miles from where Friday's search was being conducted.
