(Cincinnati) It's part of a national food drive that helps families here in the Tri-State. Saturday, May 13th, letter carriers across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky will be collecting canned goods as part of Stamp Out Hunger.
It's the nation's largest single-day food drive, bringing in 1.5 billion pounds of food over the last 25 years.
You can leave your canned fruits, canned vegetables, tuna, soups, macaroni and cheese and peanut butter by your doorstep, all to be taken to the Freestore Foodbank.
Last year alone, 81,000 meals were provided by the donations collected
