(Cincinnati, Oh.)--A man was ordered held on $750,000 Monday after he allegedly choked an officer until he lost consciousness over the weekend.
Jeffrey Cooper, 29, is being charged with attempted murder of a law enforcement officer and assault, after a Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputy was choked while trying to mediate a domestic issue between Cooper and a woman.
It happened Saturday afternoon in the lobby of the Days Inn in the 5400 block of Ridge Road.
The deputy was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
