Fighting Back Against Healthcare Votes in Washington

(Cincinnati, Oh.)--Constituents outraged by Representative Warren Davidson’s Vote for AHCA are staging a Hell No! We Say No! Die-in Rally's to for Healthcare.

The Rally's are being held Sunday May 7 from 1 P.M.-2 P.M. at 345 High St. Hamilton, OH 45011. A rally will also be held at from 1 P.M. - 2 P.M. at Prouty Plaza in Troy, OH.

Michaela Little, with the group Indivisibly OH8 says participants encouraged to wear black, bring tombstone-shaped signs, and a piece of paper stating a pre-existing condition that they or a family member has that could increase the price of their healthcare.

Several lawmakers are receiving push-back for Voting on the AHCA.

The House narrowly passed a revised bill to repeal and replace the ACA (Obamacare) on Thursday. It now heads to the Senate. 

U.S. Senator Rob Portman says if the bill passes in the Senate it will be much different than when it arrives, as many Senate Republicans are preparing to write their own healthcare bill after the passage of the House GOP plan.

U.S. President Donald Trump expects the GOP healthcare bill to clear the Senate despite facing heavy opposition.
