(Columbus, Oh.)--The Ohio Business and Career Expo is set for May 17, at Ohio Expo Center, in Columbus. This free networking and learning opportunity is geared toward job seekers who will receive one-on-one networking opportunities, attend workshops on resume writing, online job searching techniques, application processes and interviewing techniques.
Job seekers are invited to explore career opportunities available from more than 50 government agencies, universities, construction firms and apprenticeship programs Employers recruiting will include State of Ohio agencies, The Ohio State University, Columbus State Community College, Columbus Regional Airport Authority and Central Ohio Transit Authority as well as construction firms working on state or state-assisted projects and construction apprenticeship programs.A computer lab will be available for job seekers to start creating a profile on the State of Ohio job posting site, careers.ohio.gov.
The Ohio Business and Career Expo being held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 17 at the Ohio Expo Center’s Cardinal Hall, 717 E. 17th Ave., Columbus. Admission is free Parking is $5.
