Hamilton County deputies continue their investigation after a serious accident in the 5500 block of Batavia Pike in Anderson Township. Brandon Shoemake of Mt. Orab was traveling eastbound..when he went left of center and struck a vehicle driven by Mary Lou Carson of Cincinnati. Shoemake was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition. Miss Carson was taken to a hospital and is listed in serious condition. Drugs are believed to have been a factor in the crash.
