( Middletown ) - A man is being extradited back to Butler County after police say he killed his wife and went on the run.
45-Year-Old Bobby Jo Nitz (pictured) is accused of shooting Crista Nitz in their home on Short Street on Sunday evening. Police say the two had been arguing before the gunshot fired, and Crista's 11-year-old daughter found her shot.
Nitz was arrested in Meigs County in southeast Ohio. He allegedly told a friend that he killed his wife. Extradition is pending.
