(Boone County, KY)--Deputies found the body of a 46-year-old Florence woman on southbound I-71 near the split with I-75 in Walton early Saturday morning.
Investigators believed the woman drove her car to that location, got out, and then laid down in front of oncoming traffic.
The woman was hit and killed. The driver took off.
The highway was shut down for hours.
