Bengals Fans Should Hope THIS Happens on Draft Night

In the first round of next Thursday's NFL Draft, the following teams in BOLD need a QB this coming season.

Pick

1. Cleveland Browns

2. San Francisco 49ers

3. Chicago Bears

4. Jacksonville Jaguars

5. Tennessee Titans from Los Angeles Rams

6. New York Jets

7. Los Angeles Chargers

8. Carolina Panthers

9. Cincinnati Bengals

If you are a Bengals fan here is what you hope happens Thursday.  The consensus is the Browns have targeted Texas A&M DE Myles Garrett with the #1 pick.  Though they need a QB, the #1 slot is too early to draft any QB in this draft and Garrett is a generational talent that can't be passed on.

The Browns would hope to get their QB (word is they covent UNC's Mitch Trubisky) with their #12 pick.  So you want quarterbacks to go off the board FAST within the next seven picks, and three of those seven need a QB and will strongly consider taking one.  DeShaun Watson has been rumored to the Bears at #3. If the draft's other top QBs...UNC's Trubisky, and Texas Tech's Patrick Mahomes...all get taken, all of a sudden AJ McCarron becomes very valuable, especially to the Browns.

Yes I know reports are that they won't trade for a veteran QB but Hue Jackson MUST get a QB before next year.  If this crop of QBs goes unexpectedly quickly, he could get desperate.  Especially if the 49ers, Bears, or Jets take Trubisky (in my opinion the "best" QB of the crop this year) maybe the Browns change their thinking.  If they do and the offer for McCarron is generous, the Bengals could strongly benefit.
