Prosecutor Says There is Video of Jamie Urton Murder

(Cincinnati) Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters says there is a video that shows clearly what happened. He's releasing new information on the death of Jamie Urton in Walnut Hills.

The 44-year-old was shot and killed last month when he accidentally struck a 4-year-old boy. Deters says there are two disturbing elements to the video. First, he says the father of the boy runs to the car and starts beating Urton rather than checking on his son. Second, he says one of the suspects tells the passenger, "get out of here. You're black."

Jamal Killings is being held on a $1.7 million bond for Urton's death. The reward for information on the second suspect, 25-year-old Deonte Baber, has been upped to $7,500. Police say he is the one who pulled the trigger five times.

Urton died at the scene. The little boy was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released.
