Guilty Verdict in Deputy Shooting Trial

(Warren County) It didn't buy the claim that he was mentally unstable and didn't know what he was doing. A Warren County jury has found Mohammad Laghaoui guilty of attempting to kill a sheriff's deputy. 

Deputy Katie Barnes was shot in the abdomen while responding to a domestic disturbance call in June of last year. Laghaoui was also found guilty of shooting his father in the hand and trying to shoot a neighbor. 

Sentencing is set for next month.
